Born in Leicester, England in 1954, I studied at Brighton Art College between 1973 and 1977 obtaining a BA Hons degree in 3D Design. After working as a Technical Illustrator in Hove, Sussex, I moved to Jersey in the Channel Islands in 1979. My work there included Graphic Design and Interior Design before studying for a PGCE in Secondary Education. This led to my employment at De La Salle College teaching Craft, Design and Technology until 1999. I combined professional artwork with teaching at Beaulieu Convent Girls' School until 2012, when I moved to Southern Spain. I lived and worked as an artist in Málaga until August 2017 when I moved to Maldon, Essex.
I started exhibiting my work with the help of The Art in the Frame Foundation and The Harbour Gallery in Jersey where I have had several group and solo shows. I have also exhibited in Taiwan, Málaga, Gibraltar and Belgium.
